Hello dear friends!! Kathy Mosher here to share my oldest grandson in his kindergarten Pilgrim costume for his first school Thanksgiving program. He was so cute!!! For this layout I used an old paper collection from Bo Bunny “Enchanted Harvest Forest” which has such lively bright colors that matched perfectly with his bright red sweater.
I layered several papers under the photo and added a little ephemera toadstool botanical print to offset the photo. Next I used the Fall Frame 2
I heat embossed it using Blue Fern Studios “Chili Peppers” powder and then cut it in half. I tucked one half in the top right hand corner between the layers and did the same in the bottom left side. I tucked raffia under both pieces of the wreath.
I went to town adding lots of different embellishments around the frames and photos with butterflies and mushrooms that I fussy cut, flowers and other bits and pieces. Here are a few photos.
I think the crowning touch are those highly detailed adorable Acorn Clusters.I used 3 different acrylic paints, Steampunk Copper, Brown, and Avocado Green. On the leaves I used Ranger’s Rock Candy Clear Crackle Paint to give them some dimension. Unfortunately, when I added the microbeads, I used matte gel and it neutralized the effect. The gel wasn’t dry yet when I took these photos, I was in a hurry to share them with you, but it does dry clear.
The title was created using an emphemera piece for the “Fall” and the Autumn Word Set for the “Autumn”. I used Blue Fern Studios “Wheat” embossing powder which has a loving white gold shimmer to it. LOVE!!!
I wish everyone all the blessings of the season and hope that you will stop by again to visit us. Here’s a big Alaska Bear Hug!!
