Hello everyone! I just came back from Lima, Peru where I was teaching mixed media-scrapbooking classes. The last day Sunday, I had a steampunk album class using Creative Embellishments chipboards, and a stencil with Graphic 45 papers. I share with you the project and also a few photos of the event.

I covered all the exterior and interior of the box with papers from the Imagine collection by Graphic 45. I gave textures on the cover and spine of the box using the Crackled Brick Stencil with modeling paste.

I gave a rusty effect and added dimension  to all the chipboards with the Finnabair Rust pastes. I used the Gear 1 1/2″ set and the Mini Gears 3/4″ (set of 12).

Once you open the box you find the mini tag album that I worked using the Crackled Brick stencil to add texture with the stone effect pastes.

I hung up a piece of cheesecloth from the album’s ring tying some gears.

I decorated the tags with different images that I cut out from the papers and a few rusty gears.

Everything you can imagine is real…lol perfect with this fun photo of me. You can see the mix of textures.

The album has seven tags that we worked both sides.

This is part of the kit that all the ladies received with Creative Embellishments, Prima and Graphic 45 products.

They had fun giving the rusty effect to the chipboards.

Here’s the group of ladies that attended the Sunday class, we had so much fun! I hope this project inspires you. Thank you so much for stopping by…until next time!!! xxx  Marilyn Rivera
