Hi there! It’s Marilyn here to share with you a Shabby Chic card and a tag . I went crazy with the heart stencil and gave a lot of textured hearts on the background, let’s take a look…
I cut a 5 1/2″ by 4 1/2 piece of paper for the card and for the tag a piece of 3 1/2 by 5″. I gave textures to both pieces of paper with the Heart Bokeh Stencil and modeling paste. I stamped the hearts with the Distressed Crackle Stamp.
I gave a coat of gesso to the Love Lock and Key Border Set. Then I painted the chipboard and the stencil work with Color Blooms.
I added some flowers, pearls, lace and glass beads to add more textures. Finally I gave paint splatters.
For the tag I gave the textures over all the background with the Heart Bokeh Stencil with modeling paste and painted with color blooms. I took one balloon from the Balloon Set 2 and gave a coat of gesso, then I also painted with the same pink color bloom.
I adhered lace flowers and pearls to bring this shabby look to the tag. I hope it inspires you. Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time!!
