I loved the inspiration photo for Creative Embellishments’ June challenge.  I was inspired by the blue, gray, and gold color combination, and I added a sun for the twist. The sun and clouds come from Creative Embellishments’ Rain or Shine set, and and the Sailboat 1 piece adds the perfect nautical element to this page.

June 1st Challenge is a fabulous mood board and the twist is to use something celestial… like the sun, moon or stars. I created the page above inspired by this theme and loved the chipboard accents available from the store to co-ordinate with it. I chose to accent the chipboards with sparkle. I used some liquid pearls and also some nuvo glimmer paste.  The results were perfect.

Front SliderFor this page I used these chipboard pieces. They were a perfect match to create my page.  Alphabet Blocksmoon starsSun and Moon are the items used and can be found in the store along with so many other amazing products.

Marci

Hello from Marci!  It’s June and after last month’s all month long rain here in NJ AND Florida, I am happy for a little warmth and sunshine! Summer is my favorite time of year…We sure hope you have some time to join in this month’s challenge! I am calling these ARTIST TRADING CARDS “Celestial Grunge”.  I trade these cards with other card crafters all over the world! CREATIVE EMBELLISHMENTS PRODUCTS USED: GEARS: I colored them with a Black Sharpie.  SUN: I used Tim Holtz distress paint along with Glossy accents followed by a sprinkling of micro beads.  STARS:  This is circular frame and I cut it into pieces, used Tim Holtz Distress paint,  along with a sprinkling of micro beads. As another month, another great inspirational photo, and the twist is to use something celestial.

What goes better than the Alchemy paper collection and gears, suns and moons and lots of layers. I decided to make a passport book will all of those. I made a little video of the cover, but put plenty of chipboards through out the book. I started with some stamping with the Distressed Checkered Stamp, and topping it off with the falling stars stencil. And using the Sun and Moon set, I used on the cover. _MG_4658

HA!  I’m loving that Heather and I both chose Stamperia Alchemy papers to do our Celestial project.  She was at my house recently, and we were both using Alchemy.  BUT, it’s just the perfect paper to accompany Creative Embellishments chipboard!  I started out with CE’s Large Tag. Love thes 5.5 x 10″ tags, they’re such a great size!  Then I layered on Doily 2 and cut-apart from the collection and topped that with the Out of this World Frame.   At the bottom I tucked in part of the Floral Lace Border.  Can’t wait to see your celestial project, this is such a fun twist for this month’s challenge!

I was inspired by the colors of the image and to create a steampunky and grungy layout using the steampunk clock corner, gears, steampunk gear panel,  and cross stitch border

I made a grungy card inspired by the beautiful inspirational image for this challenge. My card features the wonderful Rectangular Stitched Frame. I actually cut a few corners off the frame to make it a little smaller, so that the frame would fit my card size. Besides, I used one of the Grunge Circles in the middle of my card, on top of which I added an hot-air balloon embellishment. After that, I added a few Gears as well. All chipboard pieces were only lightly inked with brown distress ink. In the end, I added a few handdrawn stars to my card as a finishing touch.

Hi everyone! For this months challenge I used one of the Large chippy tags, and lots of Creative Embellishments stamps. I also used that very cool Moon Stars chippy to fit the challenge. I finished it off with tucked some pieces from Flourish Set 10 in the cluster. Have fun playing along and I can not wait to see what you make!!!!!!!!

We would love to see what you create. For a chance to win a $50.00 gift voucher to the store remember to share below in the link tool.GIFTCARD-50
