With these winter months where the days are so short and the nights so long, the creative inspiration is sometimes very far and in between. Sometimes a gal just needs to create with out purpose, with out a plan, and just get your hands dirty and just get something out on paper.
I created a journal page simple, no rhyme or reason, just to add a little colour and texture to my world. I started with some masking tape on the background, you can get the same effect with tissue paper but masking tape gives it a little more lift.
I then grabbed a couple of my favorite stamps, the distress checkered stamp along with the circuit stamp. And I just followed the flow of the tape. Along with the Distress Checkered Stencil, I followed the flow.
After some colour I grabbed the grunge circle frame and the grunge gear corner and added some texture paste and then painted in a grungy effect.
This hardest part was the title, and I still haven’t decided if it’s going to end up in the bin, but I just to add a saying to relate to how I am feeling.
So here is a little short video on how the process evolved.
