Hi! It’s Romy here! Are you working on your Christmas cards for this year yet? I seem to be on a Christmas card roll lately, as I’ve been making quite a lot of them over the past few weeks. Lucky me that Creative Embellishments offers so many beautiful chipboard pieces that are just perfect for Christmas. Today I have two Christmas cards to share that I made with some of my favourite Creative Embellishments chippies.
First off is a tag I amde with traditional Christmas colours. I framed a Santa Claus image on my tag with the Holly and Berry Frame, which I only subtly inked with brown distress ink. I also added a few pearls to, which resemble the berries on the frame. After that, I used two Pine Trees on the left side of my tag. I gave them a subtle green look using distress ink.
My second card has a completely different colour scheme featuring more magical and bright colours and many elegant touches.
On this card, I stapled two Star Doodle Frames on top of each other to use them as a frame for the vintage image that I used. I heat embossed the stars with white embossing powder and also added a few pearls to it. After that, I took several poinsettias from the Poinsettia Set. I heat embossed them with transparent embossing powder with a subtle touch of glitter and added them on top of the star frame.
