Hi, It’s Romy here! Because it’s quite rainy in the Netherlands and the weather is beginning to look a lot like fall, I decided to actually make two summer tags. I just can’t get enough of the summer, so at least I wanted to bring the summer into my scrapbook room. Of course I couldn’t resist using a few Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces for these tags.

I created two clusters on my tag, for which I used the beautiful Grunge Circles as a basis. I only slightly inked the Grunge Circles with brown ink to give them a little extra. I then layered several die-cut and wood embellishments on top of these circles. I also incorporated the title Smile in one of the two clusters. This word comes from the Happy Word Set.

To finish off my tag, I added a few extra pearls and few resin embellishments as a finishing touch.

I also made a second tag in the same style, which has a more romantic but still summery feel to it. This tag is actually quite simple. I simply used a vintage image as a central element on my card and made sure to turn it into a real eye-catcher by using different Clock Hands (as if they are hinges) above and below the image.

Just like for the other tag, I slightly inked the Clock Hands with brown ink to make them stand out more. I also added pearl hearts to the holes to give them a more elegant look.

I hope you liked my tag. Is the weather still summery in your country or are you enjoying autumn-like weather already too?
