I was inspired by the colorful rainbow of paint drips. I used the Globes 5D and heat embossed it in black.

Hi everyone, are you like me and getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s day with your loved ones? I was inspired by the drips of color and had this beautiful patterned paper that I just felt was perfect for my project. I decided that I would make cards for my two teenaged sons. I started by painting the Circle Vine Frame with black gesso; I love the matt effect that it gives my pieces. Then I used 2 of the hearts in the Distress Hearts set. I opted to heat emboss them with a fabulous bright red powder. I finished the cards with trios of beautiful flowers.

Hi to you all. I was inspired by the word LOVE and the twist to use paint. I paint splattered the background. I started with the February Kit which contained lots of elements used on this page: stenciled hearts using ink, the ink stamped  love heart, the flair love heart buttons, the metal key and then I inked lots of chipboards: two of hearts ribbon border, the love tags and the newest line of washi tape shape clusters.   I then layered lost of fun paper, doilies and lace to finish this cute page.

Hello!  I was inspired by the word “LOVE” and used a similar style in a standing acrylic frame.  Other creative embellishment products used are: “memories”: covered with gold stickles, fishnet panel: cut strip adhered painted flowers and metal BF, “LOVE” tag: cute a strip off and adhered a bow, Flair buttons, ILY word bubble: painted & glazed, heart ribbon border, Scribble heart stencil: used texture paste on I heart you paper and painted.  Hope you will have time to join us!

Happy February!  Since it’s the month of love, I decided to make a love canvas.  The photo inspired me to just play with mixed medias and see what would result and this is it.  I started out with a blank canvas and used white gesso to paint over and glue down netting and cheesecloth for some fun texture.  Then I stenciled on some hearts.   Next, I added three butterflies from the Butterflies (set of 5) and again painted them with white gesso.  I added color with several Lindy’s mists in pinks and peachy pinks.  At this point, I was happy with my background and started building the center piece.  I used Graphic 45’s Mon Amour collection and tore some banner strips.  I used foam tape to pop up the distressed rectangle to add dimension.  Then I added the Grunge Heart Corner which I painted with Viva metallic paints.   I dabbed some Glossy Accents onto the grunge heart and on the canvas background and pressed in some microbeads.  I topped a Washi Tape Shape Cluster with a wood veneer heart from the Conversation Hearts.  Then to gussy it all up, I added some pretty Petaloo flowers and a cut-apart “Je t’aime” (I love you) from the Mon Amour collection.  To finish it off, I used a pallette knife to lay down gesso around the edges creating a frame look of sorts and then randomly dry brushed white gesso over the entire canvas.

Hi, everyone… For our February challenge, I was inspired by the melting effect of the crayons, and so, I came up with my design to use the Showered with love chipboard border under my photo 🙂  I gesso’d all of the chipboard elements and then used my vintage photo paint dabber to add paint to it, which is also how I painted the words (Valentines Hashtags) and for my Fern Foliage, I used some Inka Gold in green.. Flowers are all by I am roses and papers are by Bo Bunny.

Hello, all, What a fun challenge this month, paint and such a colorful, inspirational photo. What could be better? I decided to make a fun, simple canvas. I splattered and then splattered some more. After some background work with crackle paint, I used the Galaxy stencil to add some more subtle flair. Then I hand painted the Heart Doodle Frames and the “You Color My World” title with some fun and bright paint from DecoArt Media. Such a great challenge I hope you join us this month.

Hi, everyone! This is the month of “love, colourful” and I was inspired to create this card/tag set! I used the Be Mine Frame Set and tucked in pieces from the Moroccan Lattice Panel. I hope you join along with this months challenge and can not wait to see what you all create.

I was inspired by this month’s challenge photo to create this colorful Voyage Beneath the Sea Mermaid Valentine. I stamped the mermaid and painted her with Watercolours and added some Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea paper to her tail. I created the scene using some Prima White Sand Texture Medium, Bronze Glitter and Prima Art Stones (regular and mini). I used Creative Embellishments Seashells and Seaweed 2, which I embossed with Lindy’s Stamp Gang Embossing Powders. Then I lightly dry-brushed the seashells with white gesso to give them a weathered/under-the-sea look. I added two Creative Embellishments Tropical Fish to the scene as well. I covered the fish with paper from the Graphic 45 6×6 paper pad. Inked/Distressed them with Distress Ink and white gesso and then painted on the eyes. I painted them with some Prima 3D Gloss Gel Medium for some shine and added a dot of Glossy Accents for the fish eyes! Hope you like my interpretation of this month’s challenge – I can’t wait to see what you create!

Hello, everyone! For this challenge, I was inspired by the colors yellow and pink on the inspiration picture and the word “love”.
I applied of the acrylic paint on my background with some masks for the twist. I have fun with a lot of Creative Embellishments chippies. I embossed in 2 colors the
Family Word Border Set with the Versamark and the embossing powder. I colorized Dreamcatcher 1 with the acrylic paint and I embossed the end of the feathers with a gold embossing powder. I wrapped a twine around the Feather and Beads Frame as a dreamcatcher. To add volume on the photo, I stuck a Neck ties and to add contrast on my background, I used a  Grunge stars Stamp and Distressed Text Stamp with a black Archival ink.

Hello! I love bright colors, so I was so excited to see this month’s inspiration photo. The melting of the crayons made me think of art and since I love art, I went with it.
I used the Art Palette and painted it with some white gesso. Then took paints in rainbow colors and let them run down the palette. I painted the easel, paint tubes and the word create from the Artist Create Collection with black gesso and adhered them to the palette. I also added a bunch of colorful flowers and a few old paintbrushes along with one of the Art flair buttons.

Below is a process video of my project…..

Hello all!! Anyone that knows me knows I love my dachshunds. I own 2 mini’s. One is a silver dapple dachshund my meanie weenie Otis. The other is a long hair sable everyone’s says he my favorite Kosmo….He’s my happy tails. His tail and butt moves so happily when he is happy or on the sniffing hunt. I off course was inspired by drippy paint and colors of the picture above.

I created 3 canvases for my wall. I used distress paints and stains. I altered the puppy love word set using distress paints and white gesso. I mist the middle canvas first and then used the muddy paws stencil to create the background on the canvas. I custom cut a dachshund silhouette and applied different distress paints with our paint splats trio set . I applied more distress paints on the doodle heart frame and washi tape shape cluster piece. I added wood hearts to 2 canvas as a dog tage and a bone from the dog gone cute set.  Lastly I added happy tails flair to the middle canvas.

Link up your project below for a chance to win a $50.00 gift voucher to the store.
