Good morning crafty friends, I am so excited about sharing with you my very first project as a new member of the Design Team. Today I’ll share with you a step by step project to making theses beautiful butterfly tags.
What you will need to create this project are: Tags, Stencils, Light Molding Paste, watercolors or sprays, your chipboards, twine and ornaments
One of my favorite products to heat emboss my chipboards is this dabber by Ranger. Remember that it is best to cover your chipboard with a coat of white gesso first in order to get the perfect colors of your embossing powders.
For my project, I chose chipboards from 2 different sets. You can find them in the store by using the following hyperlinks:
Here is a closer look at the effect this beautiful powder has on the chipboard. I love the turquoise, white and gold effects:
For my tags, it does not matter if I use watercolor or my inks (Lindy’s Stamp Gang) I prefer to work with a paint brush. It allows me to deliver the colors exactly where I want it.
Once dry, last step is to add on your embelishments.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my process and I wish all of you a happy crafty day.
