Hey guys Kim here, today I have a layout to share. I know I keep saying how I love their chipboard, but I really do. If you haven’t tried it you MUST!! It really adds something extra to your projects.
The photo on the layout is a recent one of dh and I out celebrating my birthday with a nice dinner. We were on vacation in New Orleans and had a fabulous time.
I love this photo and the colors in it. I used papers from blue fern studios Serendipity line, as they go perfectly with the colors in my photo. I used the fascination, calling cards, and inspiration sheets for my background and layers.
I did a bit of masking and misting to the background as well. For my chipboard pieces, I used the lace-border-1 behind my photo. I cut it into pieces (didn’t want to waste any) and just used it on the sides. I heat embossed it with a two-tone embossing powder. I used the fancy-oblong-frame-set (the small one) over my photo. I also heat embossed this with a two-tone embossing powder.
I added some of my favorite flowers, embellishments and die cut swirly and called it done.
Here are some close ups:
That’s all I have for toady. Remeber the monthly challenge is still going on, we would love it if you played along. Thanks for stopping by.
Absolutely stunning!!! Love all of your gorgeous details!!
