Hello, today I’m sharing a layout created with some wonderful CE chipboard, and playing along with the CSI challenge #211, so be sure to check it out for tons of inspiration. This is my daughter on her birthday.


I used Creative Embellishments Cherries (that was one of my first picks from the store and I Love them), “Celebrate” word from the Celebrate Word Set (these chipboard words make the perfect ready-to-go title), and a Music Note Border (which I thought was perfect, since we were signing happy birthday as this pic was taken). All of these I painted with gesso – it gives them a perfect bright but slightly distressed look, not to mention it’s super quick and easy 🙂 One of the cherries I painted with red and greenish acrylic paint, and added white enamel accents for the white dots.
