Happy Thursday! Nicolle here with a fairy in a jar. I see it’s trending. It’s my first jar and I am hoping my second turns out better. I also learned some things along the way. I found it sort of a pain to assemble. The pepperoncini jar is on the larger size and was perfect for what I wanted to create. I love snow and decided to create a snow fairy scene. I couldn’t capture every detail with my camera. It’s difficult to take a picture through glass. Well at least for this amateur. 😉
I altered the fairy that is kneeling done that is part of the Fairy Trio set using modeling paste. I then simply sprayed her with diamond dust glitter blast. Mushroom set 1 was altered using tim holtz distress paints in vintage photo and antique linen. I then swiped a bit of a black gelato and rubbed in here and there. To finish I added snow texture. Mushroom set 2 was altered using the same two distress paints as set 1 as well as candied apple distress paints.I also added snow texture medium to keep with the snow theme. The snowflakes were simply altered with modeling paste and diamond dust glitter blast.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I hope you liked my project.
Below is a video I created to get a better look at all the details.
such a sweet vignette … almost makes me not mind winter QUITE so much! I love these little scenes under cloches (or glasss of some sort) – so vintage and nostalgic!
