Happy February everyone!! I hope everyone is successful in sticking to their new years resolutions. I didn’t make any but I did pick a word of the year “balance”. Can’t say that I am very good at sticking to that either. :/ I guess ! am a work in progress. ūüėČ

I was inspired by the thorough color (blue/grey) and also the golden embellishments, the word “Love” which you find on key and badge!!! The title “Love it’s complicated” was also completed to use the photo of a blended family!!

On chipbords ” Dandelions¬†” and ” Wing set 2 “, I put black gesso, then I used the mica powder of Finnabair!!!

Hi everyone! I was inspired by the circles in this months photo. I used a Clock Face and Feather Chippys to surround the photo. The title is from the NEW Joy Word Border Set…don’t you just love them! I also used the Distressed Text Stamp in the background! I hope that you all play along with us this month!

Sarah-Wish-LO-FebChallenge-900pHappy February everyone! Like Shona, I was inspired by the¬†circles in this month’s photo and have used the Rings For So Many Things¬†chipboard circles as a major design element in my layout. The circles were painted with a Jacquard Lumiere metallic acrylic paint in Halo Blue Gold.¬†The title “Wish” (painted with Art Anthology Velvet Dimensional paint in Lagoon and then dry brushed with the¬†Halo Blue Gold paint)¬†is from the Dream Word Set¬†– and I chose this title because my son is about to blow the fluff off the dandelion in this picture – which we always call making wishes.

Hi my friends! I looove this inspiring photo .I was inspired by the gears, metal¬†components inside heart¬†and brown colour.I want to show you complicated love in a¬†vintage style. I used of course my favorite¬†gears , keys and taps from pipe works . I altered them with white gesso. I also used ¬†mini frames which I cut into pieces. I applied on them black gesso . When it dry I¬†used mists : pearl brown ,pearl olive green ,¬†pastel turquoise(13 arts)¬†and moon shadow mist (lindys stamp gang ) . In the background I used wall stencil and distressed crackle stamp ¬†.To add more vintage ,steampunk look I used ¬†only the central part of the stamp Steampunk hot air balloon stamp¬†.On the middle of my¬†layout I added¬†beautiful button with a heart . I can’t wait to see your beautiful projects !!

I went for something a bit different here.  I took the February challenge very literally and went full Valentines Day, hearts galore, but in the form of a cute little tree.  I used the little Wood Veneer Conversation Hearts in the centers of each little card on all three layers, spraying them with either a red or pink mist.  I really went for a cute fun look here, something about Valentines Day just make me smile and think of cute things.

Hello scrap friends ! I was inspired by the circle shape of the snow globe. I used Rings for so many things and also Distressed circle Stamp with VersaMark ink and embossing powder to represent this.¬† I chose Mini Gears 3/4″ (set of 12) that I colorized with black Posca pen which¬†appear inside the snow globe.¬† To bring of the texutre, I used Grunge Stars Stamp and Distressed corner Stamp on my background. For my title, I used Happy Word Set that¬†I painted with acrylic paint. To add a little volume on my page, I used Plus Signs that I embossed in black.¬† You can follow the step by step on my blog.

I cant wait to see what everyone creates for this challenge !!

I was inspired by the different metals in the photo as well as the love heart theme. I did manage to leave a little white space in my layout. It’s not always easy for me. My cluttered mind wants to fill up every spot on the project.

I used 2  CE products on this layout.  I simply applied our grunge music sheet stamp using black soot stain to the background paper. Our new Love heart corner flourish set was altered first applying a bit of glue and then adding some copper mica powder to the chippie. I then used rangers crackle accents and to make the crackle pop applied black soot stain. For the smaller love chip  piece I applied black soot stain and then added lumiere red copper paint.
