Hello everyone,
I am so excited to be here with my first project as a design team member for Creative Embellishments for this post I made a layout! On the layout you see a picture of my handsome hubby {well his tattoo}. I really love this picture of him even though I tried to keep it masculine some how I ended up using flowers….that always happens with me lol. As I am a sucker for gears & clocks I used them to my delight. For this layout I used the pretty “Walking in the Forest”collection by Maja Design.
I treated my chipboard as follows the gears & clock I first inked with “brushed corduroy” by Tim Holtz distress ink. Later on when it was dry I added some distress powder”brushed corduroy” also by Tim Holtz {amazing stuff}! I finished it off with acrylic metallic bronze paint. For the other chipboard I used just plain gesso with white embossing powder to finish them of. Let’s have a closer look:
I really love those amazing Word Border Sets they are such a great addition to your layouts and now there are even more of them yeahhh that could not have made me more happier. Normally my work is more romantic but every once in a while I like to make it all about the men in my life.
