Hi crafty peeps, it’s an exciting month as Creative Embellishments is a sponsor this month at CSI and the design team has been asked to be guest detectives !
We’re working on Case # 181 and here is the fun color palette to inspire you.
For my evidence I used : kraft background, pencil work in background, frame which was accomplished by my CE Gear Corner Set, transportation which is the hot air balloons that were stamped, gears/cogs, clocks & string which is the twine at the top of the page. My testimony is my handwritten message to my little guy… “Momma’s Little Angel”, and he truly is. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I’m never alone with him around. When I come home from work he is like my little shadow, following me everywhere. Unconditional love and affection 24/7… now you know why I titled this layout “Thankful”.
My title was painted with acrylic paint and then DecoArt’s Crackle Varnish was applied and allowed to dry. Then Raw Umber Antique Creme was applied and then a coat of Cobalt Turquoise Antique Creme was applied on top to bring out the pretty teal color. Flowers were sprayed with Lindys Stamp Gang Tawny Turquoise Moon Shadow and Sassy Sapphire Starburst sprays.
For some added texture to the background I splattered embossing glue on the paper and applied Lindys Desert Moon Turquoise powder and heat set.
My clock and gear corners were first stamped with Andy Skinner’s Industrial stamps / Rust, then painted with DecoArts Quinacridone Gold. Here and there I embossed Judikins Rusty Can for that grungy look and then using my finger applied Vintaj’s Patina in Verdigris. Hope you enjoyed my layout have a wonderful week. xoxo Toni
