New Design Team Reveal

Hi my name is Asia (Aisha)and Im from Poland. My day  starts with jogging which is my other passion .  I have been scrapbooking for 2 years. In mix media style  I m only one year but I know this is something what I love.  IN my projects I mix few styles- retro , fantasy and steampunk with a Little bit of magic.I use dark , deep Colours , textures , flowers and lots of metal parts  . The most fun for me is to use in my art small watch parts , gears and cogs .Usually I create  mix media canvas , boxes and altered items.

Scrapbooking is for me self- expression.I like that every project tell different story and show different emotions.

Im so happy that I can share with people my passion and my imagination .

My Name is Karan Gerber and I love scrapbooking.  although i enjoy creating paper projects of all kinds, i believe my true passion lies in 12×12 layouts.

I reside in small Hamlet of 700 people in south western Ontario, Canada, with my family.  My husband, Glenn of 20 years and our two boys; Elijah 18 and Galen 16. My passion for this hobby definitely shows in the projects I love to create and you will often see the faces of my loved ones on my layouts.  I love chunky and lumpy and feel I can best describe my style as detail oriented of which i love to incorporate textures and layers of dimension whenever i can.  From canvas, paper, to chipboard, fabric. I enjoy tucking tags for journal spots and hidden elements that the reader can pull out and learn more about the people in the photo.  I am so thrilled to be part of the team again at Creative Embellishments and look forward to inspiring you with my Creativity.

Tara Peterson Age

Hi all! My name is Tara Peterson Age, I currently live in the metro Atlanta area with my amazing husband and best friend, Aaron. I am a full time, fun loving mom to an incredible one year old baby girl, Harlyn Piper, and I can not forget my 4 year old Australian Shepherd Siberian Husky named Roscoe. (Yes, he was my first born furry son!)
As a young child I always had an interest in the creative arts, starting with pottery, and slowly over the past five years venturing into mixed media, which is where I find the most inspiration. I love giving new life to old, everyday items. As well as thinking way outside the box! Characterizing my style is one I find difficult, I do not limit myself, nor do I discriminate any type of craft. I love trying new things, doing it all, experimenting and getting messy!
I can express myself freely through my art. This is my escape. My ‘Take me to Never Land’.
I am super excited to be a part of the Creative Embellishments Design Team. I hope you all are able to gain inspiration, let go of your fears and create lifetimes of memories!

Hello, my name is Tammy Henderson. I have 2 wonderful teenagers that keep me going and a wonderful husband; we have been married for 20yrs. I live in the Bootheel area of MO. I’m just a small town girl having a blast in the scrapping world! I have been doing this wonderful craft since 2005 and have been hooked every since. I love all types of art and the different mediums. I think that is the thing that has kept me in love with this craft, because it’s not the same ole thing. Anything goes and the sky is the limit. I absolutely love getting to combine pictures of my loved ones, with my favorite thing in the world ART! I love every minute of it! My favorite embellies to use is chippies and flowers!! I currently design for Flying Unicorn and Creative Embellishments.

My name is Shona Keehn and I am from British Columbia, Canada. I have 3 children, lots of grand babies and a wonderful husband of 29 years.I have been scrapping for many years but have just found my scrappy style in the last couple of years, Shabby Chic with a bit of grunge, and it is definitely something that I change up lots as I am always trying new techniques. OH yes and I am definitely addicted, there is just something about getting my hands all dirty during a project. I am thrilled to be part of the Creative Embellishment team! I get so much inspiration from everyone in the scrapping world and I hope that you can get some from me.

Hi, I am Maggi Harding, and I am really excited to be part of the Creative Embellishments Design Team!  My home is in eastern North Carolina, but, sometimes I claim the world as home.  I have spent most of my life wandering, as a child with my parents because my Dad was in the Army, and, as an adult, because I wanted to.  By the time I was 18 I had been to 9 different schools, lived in France, Japan,Germany, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and North Carolina.

 

My husband and I share our home with our two standard poodles, or spoos as we call them.  We have a 5 year old, Nika, and an almost 2 year old, Tisha.  We love to travel and do so mostly in our RV so that our spoos can accompany us wherever we go.  We have been fromKey West, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska and from the Pacific shores of California to the Atlantic shores of North Carolina in our well travelled motorhome!

 

I discovered scrapbooking in 2005 when I decided to make scrapbooks for my two best friends from college.  It quickly became my passion and something that I spend hours doing and never grow tired of my efforts.

 

My style is eclectic, I do a little bit of everything but if pinned down, I would say vintage styled layouts are what I love the most.  I love color, and red, black and ivory always bring me joy.  For me, scrapbooking is an artistic adventure, what can I create, how can I make this piece of paper come to life?  Scrapbooking has awakened my “inner artist” and  satisfies the creative side of my brain that was long neglected during my career as a CPA.  I am really happy to be a stay at home retired crazy scrapbook lady!

“Hi there, I’m Caroline Elliam on the net. I’m a mother of 3 boys married with her best friend since 12 years already. I live near Montreal, Canada, my first language is French. I discovered scrapbooking in 2005 and I became quickly addicted. I don’t have any particular style, loving clean and simple as much as the opposite.

For a couple of months I challenge myself to use mixed media stuff on my work. It takes me oh so much time to end up a layout but I love it. Chipboards are a must for layered layouts and that’s how I discovered Creative Embellishments.

I am a SAHM of 5 wonderfully active and creative kids who inspire me every day…when they’re not driving me insane.  I love everything to do with paper crafting and enjoy creating tags, cards, layouts, altered art and mixed media projects. I’m an eclectic scrapper and I vary styles regularly since I love everything from CAS to grungy and distressed. Some of my favorite manufacturers are Webster’s Pages, Prima, October Afternoon, Graphic 45, Bo Bunny, MME…the list could go on! lol

My name is Nicolle Kramer (part owner of CE) and I have been scrapbooking for around 10 yrs. I am a stay at home mom of 4 children. I have 2 boy ages 22,21 and 2 girls as well ages 18 and 12. My hubby Michael (other owner) .   of 22 yrs is extremely supportive of my hobby. We both love the arts.  I enjoy creating layouts using  many different styles of scrapping. The internet is where I look for inspiration through sketches, color challenges and browsing some really talented ladies blogs.  I find it  fun to learn new techniques and follow trends. I’d like to think I am an ever evolving scrapper who loves using bright bold colors, textures and lots of embellishments to enhance the story being told on my page in a unique and creative way that keeps the viewer continually discovering new details every time they see one of my pieces. I also love to alter different mediums and create tags. I also make the occasional card.  I love everything paper or paper related.
