CSI case file 171 by Caroline Elliam

Hi gang, Caroline with you today to share my take on the CSI challenge #171 that Creative Embellishements sponsor this month!

I was super inspired by the gold part of the combo as you can see! I chose stripes, chevrons, wood, cork and something transparent from the evidences. For the Testimony I started my prompt with the word celebrate and wrote my journaling on an artisan label. I used the Out of this world frame and the feathers to make a kind of a dream catcher. That I all covered with gold paint first and I sprinkled gold glitters on them before the paint dries. It makes a distress look because some parts did not stick.

On my watercolor background I used the distressed text stamp tone on tone with a pink ink. I finished this layout with some wood veneer stars from the store and a couple of enamel dots to make a little pop.
