Hello CE Friends!! Wow what a busy week! I hope the start to your April has been a good one. Today I am sharing a layout I created of Jolie having fun in the snow. We had record snow falls and cold weather this year in Buffalo. She had a good time sledding with her big sister.

I used both of our snowflake stamps on the background as well as our new twinkle stamp. I applied sapphire distress paint to the distress snowflake stamp, broken china to the grunge snowflake stamp and a blue faber castell pitt pen to the twinkle and stamped the images onto the background paper.

I used the small snowflake and snowflake 2 frames and sort of layered one over the other further layering chipboard snowflakes. I altered both frames first applying a dark blue with a faber castell big pitt pen.I didn’t prime with gesso first this time. I tend not to when I want to achieve a darker look to the chipboard.  I then dabbed broken china , sapphire distress paints  and white gesso here and there over both frames. The snowflakes did have a base coat of gesso and I then applied TH  broken china and sapphire distress paints.

IMG_8251The hashtag word #fun title piece I simply applied sapphire distress paint and a little white gesso.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog today.
