Happy Tuesday everyone! Nicolle here today sharing a layout. It’s also the last official day of summer vacation for my Jojo. I am hoping to get back on track with more designing! It has been one crazy partying summer. No regrets it was soo much fun spending time with family.
Jojo is ready for school with a new haircut and color. She loves the color blue and she dyed her hair with Splat in Blue Envy. I know a lot of people do not like this type of expression but I figure that she is old enough but not too old to still have some fun with her hair. Kayla waited so long and was so excited to dye her hair blue and when she got her job at McDonald’s she had to dye it back to a “normal” hair color. She only enjoyed the color for like 3 weeks. I am a pretty laid back chickie and nothing bothers me…people expressing themselves is fine with me as long as they aren’t hurting anyone else.
I took before during and after shots of the process. So much fun! I love spending time with my kiddos.
I first stamped the film strip stamp 1 image using tumbled grass distress stain. I used 2 of the 3 paint splat trio stamps and stamped the images using black soot stain.
I altered our photo booth frame with blue embossing powder and further altered adding a bit of black ink and dabbing on broken china distress paint. I altered the camera chippie with maya gold in grey…
I altered the butterfly also heat embossing in blue an then inking the edges in black. I left our star wood veneers in raw form and added some art flair to the page.
