Happy Monday friends! Nicolle here today sharing a layout. My spoiled daughter was bugging to get puppy. Wellllll I am a sucker for puppies and love dogs! My hubby and Kayla traveled 3 1/2 hours to pick up our new puppy Kosmo. He is a mini long haired dachshund. I really love the loyalty of this breed and they tend to be lap dogs and I love cuddly. A little story behind his name…when my dad was alive and we got our 3 other dogs he always suggested we name them Cosmo. One of his favorite sitcoms was Seinfeld. Well we named the lil booger Kosmo.. I changed the spelling a bit to match our last name. He is just the sweetest little boy. He smaller then my hubbys foot and he’s a size 13. He lucky if he is 3 lbs. Kosmo is a ball of energy. We love him already.
I stamped the distress chicken wire stamp image using black soot distress stain to the background paper.
I sprayed a bit of texture spray onto the heart frames and heart shape chipboard pieces. I then applied weathered wood distress paint , broken china and dark blue acrylic paint for a sponged look.
For the heart wood veneers I applied broken china distress paint.
I finished the page adding one of our puppy love flair buttons.
How cute!!
Kosmo Kramer! Love it, he is precious. What a wonderful tip of the hat to your dad . My dad’s last Christmas was spent with us in Cali, he loved Seinfeld and we were playing Scene It Seinfeld and he was answering all the?’s before we could!
