Happy Tuesday Friends! Nicolle here today sharing a layout. I am still scrapping pictures from my daughter’s graduation. Don’t be surprised if you see a few more in the future. I took a lot of photo’s. 😉 The photos below are of Kayla and my hubby Mike. They are both such goofballs. Kayla is a ham and Mike hates photos taken of him. I stamped quite a few different images on the background paper. The distressed crackle was stamped onto the paper using Tim Holtz ( I think by now you can tell I love his products 🙂 ) distressed Black soot stain. I also stamped the diamond shape (Trio Shapes Stamps) image using black soot. I used one of the paint splat trio stamps (the one on the far right) using fired brick distress stain.
I altered the not yet added to the store Valentine’s ..yes Valentine’s chipboard Polaroid set. ( I promise to add it soon). I started with a coarse pumice and modeling paste mixer applied as a base. I then added some pink Lindy’s stamp gang. After I dried that with a heat gun I then applied Tim Holtz rock candy crackle. I then followed that with some fired brick distress stain to accent the crackle effects. I applied pink prima chalk edger to the diamond chipboard in various shapes. I then applied rock candy crackle and again after that dried added fired brick stain to help the scrackle pop.
For the Daddy’s Girl title I first heat embossed red glitter powder and then applied rock candy crackle. I then applied black soot stain to make the crackle pop. The flourishes were simply altered using maya gold in grey color. Lastly I left the wood veneer diamond shapes in their natural state.
This layout was inspired by a sketch at Stuck?!Sketches.
