Happy Thursday CE Friends! Nicolle here again today sharing another layout. Recently my sister bought a camper on a campsite and took Jolie camping with her. It’s sort of a resort if you ask me. They have an amazing in ground pool and many other fun things to do. When I think of camping I think of tents and fires. You know the good ol’ fashioned way. It was Jolie’s first time “camping” and she had a blast with her aunt and cousins.
I started by stamping our circle bokeh with chipped sapphire distress paint to the background paper. I then stamped the crackle stamp using stazon ink in ultramarine color.
For the view master slides I first applied gesso and then distressed with some black soot distress ink. For the view master I altered the slide at the top the same way I altered the other slides. I then applied some prima chalk edger in ladybug color. I simply applied black soot stain to the lever. To high light the view master name I used a white jelly roll pen. I didn’t have the time to add glossy accents to the view finder but will be adding that for a realistic plastic look.
For the pansies I applied chipped sapphire distress paint to the flowers and mowed lawn to the stems and leaves. I added a little yellow dot of acrylic paint to the centers. I also added a couple white dots above the yellow ones. For added detail I added black to the centers of the petals using a permanent marker.
For the page corners and flourish 22. I applied chipped sapphire distress paint as a base and swiped gesso across for texture.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog today.
Gorgeous… sweet picture and I adore those view finder frames and the view finder itself!
