Happy hump day! Nicolle here today sharing a layout. My daughter went to her Senior Prom on Friday the 13th..lol. Thankfully everything went smoothly. We have been having the worst luck lately. I can’t believe this school year went by so quickly. On the 26th she will be graduating from HIGH SCHOOL!! There will be 3 adult kiddos in my house soon. Yep this momma’s getting old. 😀
I used the distressed crackle to create part of the background simply applying blak soot distress stain and stamping onto the paper. For the iron fence I first applied distress pewter stain and dry brushed a bit of viva maya gold in grey for some distressing. Both flourishes have base coats from faber castell big pitt artist pens in dark green. I then swiped a bit of distressed paint in mowed lawn color. The Senior Prom title piece I simply applied viva maya gold in grey. The wood heart also has a coat of maya gold in grey. Lastly I added a piece of our flair from the graduation set. Below are a few close ups of the alterations.
Altered flourish and flair piece.
A close up of the title piece.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog!!
Well Momma is looking good. Love this layout! Beautiful.
Love the whole “home-y” them to this with the brick work, fence and flower garden! And of course, she looks like a princess!
As far as that crackle stamp, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it! Along with the Bokeh!
