everyday life, filled with unexpected moments, laughs and actions that are worth a thousand words. Our grandaughter makes my heart sing, thats it, plain and simple. She is such a blessing and spending time with her, and watching her grow is seriously, time well spent. I had a few pictures that i hadnt yet scrapbooked from her 2nd birthday ( gosh she will be three in June) that i thought i would scrapbook this one i have of her sitting on her Uncles Soccer ball.
so what Ariel would do, is grab that soccer ball, kick it, run after it, and sit on it, LOL!! we couldnt understand why she did it, she just did, thats what makes her so very special! when i asked why she was sitting on the ball, she said Grandma, its fun! 😀
The background is kraft cardstock, painted with gesso, then i took the circles stamp, stamped with versa mark and embossed with white embossing powder knowing i would be using Faber Castell Gelatos and Big Brush Pens to blend colour. here is a peek at the layers around the photo
i tucked the spellbinders photo mat into the square heart photo frame in the frame set, and the second was attach to the photo. both were primed with gesso, coloured with big bursh pens, then swiped with versa mark and dipped in UTEE
The background loved playing with the pens and gelatos, and love how it turned out. I also used more stamps from Creative Embellishments to achieve the look.
dont forget to capture some of your own unexpected photos, you just never know when they will come in handy for a project :D, until next time, happy scrapping.
