Happy Monday everyone, Karan here to share a project with you today. Although I thoroughly enjoy working with mists and paints and adding mixed media to my projects, I can also put together some quick projects for my grand children’s albums.
So here is a scrapbook idea for those scrappers who enjoy the project life idea of scrapping, i wanted to show you how easy it is to achieve that while still using layering and chipboard from Creative Embellishments.
I am using the Bundle of Joy – boy from Echo Park. Photo is of our grandson who is now over 4 months old.
to start all chipboard pieces were primed with gesso and set to dry, the 6×6 square lattice panel, when dry i added a bit of Quick Quotes Tahiti to add some colour to coordinate with the colours in the Bundle of Joy Papers. The time flies frame set, i also dabbed a bit of Tahiti ink. and the Mini Ornate word Frames i layered on top of the time flies frame set and the layers work beautifully for this layout.
Here are some detail photos for you – imagine the possibilities for project lifers out there
here is a close of image of the Square lattice panel, with the photo and time flies frame layered on top of that yet.
what a perfect way to add incredible detail to a project life idea. I also then added some stamped detail using the Tire Tracks stamp, heat embossed with white.
i hope i have inspired you today 😀 and you see chipboard in a whole new project life idea 😀
