Happy Tuesday friends! The weather has been incredible but it’s no surprise it goes from 75 degrees one day to a high today in the 40’s. Gotta love Buffalo weather. I am so used to this type of fluctuation but what a tease…. 🙁 I try to enjoy it when I can though.

Today I am sharing a layout I created of my daughter on her new bike. She loves to play outdoors and stays active in the warmer months. Jolie struggles her weight so I am hoping she can drop a few pounds and have fun in the process. Shes the only one of the 4 of our kiddos with weight issues.

I altered the bicycle chain chipboard frames with Maya gold in the color grey. I then applied some Dusty Attic rusting powder in a few spots on each. You can’t really tell that I used the powder but trust me it’s there. The bicycle chain looking chipboard piece in the top right corner was altered with maya gold in grey and the gears  in pewter. I altered the cut apart butterfly with Tim Holtz distress paint in the color tarnished brass. I applied grey Tim Holtz distress paint  to the wood veneer arrows. I left the clouds natural.  Oops almost forget the chevron border pieces. I altered them with a gold acrylic paint.

For the “hers” bike. I applied metallic blue acrylic paint to the frame of the bike and a small gear. For the spokes I used Tim holtz pewter distress paint. The rest of the bike I applied Maya gold in the color grey.
