Happy Thursday friends! Nicolle here sharing a layout I created last night. The picture is of my girls and I on Thanksgiving last year. I used a CE stamp, chippies and some wood veneers on this layout. I stamped the love heart image in a line on the background page after applying some Tim Holtz black soot distress ink. I cut apart the chicken wire panel and applied Tim Holtz distress paint. For the flourish I applied a couple different shades of pink TH distress paints and then went back and added some glitter. I didn’t cover completely because I wanted to variation in colors to show through. I used a bunch of different sized hexagon shapes applying grey, light pink and off white paints. I applied 3 different color paints to the butterfly for an ombre sort of effect. On all the wood hearts I use Faber Castell big pitt pens. Lastly and I hope I don’t forget anything. I cut apart the shower with love border and applied Tim Holtz pewter stain.
Here’s a close up of the glittered flourish.
Here’s a picture of the ombre effect on the butterfly chippie.
