Happy Friday, Friends!! Nicolle here today sharing a layout and some features. I also wanted to remind you of our FB fan giveaway. WE are giving away (2) $50.00 gift vouchers once we reach 1500 fans/followers. So please share away. Every fan has a chance to win.
I created a layout around my meanie weenie miniature silver dapple dachshund Otis. He is my grumpy fur baby. Otis is my lil watch dog and has a big bark for a 13lb dog. I believe he suffers from little dog syndrome. He tends to be a nervous dog and isn’t very friendly. It can be annoying at times because in turn causes him to be aggressive and tends to growl and bark. He also gets nervous around toddlers. I did know this when I purchased him and has good qualities too. Otis is super loyal (to me ) and is my little shadow. He is always at my side and or on my lap. He can be funny as well.
I used a ton of different CE products on this layout. I applied black acrylic paint before I stamped the film strip image across the bottom of the page. I wanted a heavy look to the stamping. Go figure then I go ahead and cover it. I applied some Tim Holtz black soot distress stain to the distressed chicken wire stamp before I stamped onto the corners of my page. I used the chicken wire chipboard piece as a mask when I sprayed the background with some mist. I then cut it apart and applied black soot distress stain sporadically onto the piece. I used 2 little pieces on the layout. I altered our smart phone chipboard pieces painting one with white and the other with black acrylic paints. I further embellished then with gems around the edges. I wanted it to look like they had jeweled cases. I altered the film strip frame and wavy film strips the same. I sponged on white and black paints leaving some chipboard peaking through here and there. I also left some of our products in natural form. I didn’t alter the hearts chipboard pieces or any of the wood pieces used. I hope I didn’t forget anything. I really did use a lot on this layout.
Here’s a close up of my puppy love. I was also inspired by case 110 at CSI Color Stories Inspiration challenge site. Please click the links below for a direct link to the store.
