Hi Scrappy Friends! Happy Friday and Valentine’s Day! Today I  am sharing a layout I created last evening. Our anniversary was on Wednesday, February 12th and I guess my oldest son wanted to make it memorable one for us. He was coming home from dropping his brother off to work and as he was coming up the street he got into an accident. The person in front of him was making a left had the left blinker on and veered off to the right and then stopped. Ryan thought that the person was letting him go and in fact they weren’t they made the left as he was passing and well….You see the pictures. Smack…the 2013 dodge journey we only had for 1 year now needs to be repaired. Yes he made a bad choice and here in NYS he will pay for it in increased x3 in his insurance payment for at least 3 years. He is a young driver and I am hoping he learned that he needs to just wait on other people. I have been driving for a long time and unfortunately these types of drivers that hesitate do not make driving fun. They even cause accidents. In such cases you can contact injury attorneys serving in Grand Haven as they can help you in claiming compensation. I guess in case of an auto accident which is so common, the collision shop repair guy who is a Chinese said the same thing happened with his son. Then they consulted Chinese-speaking traffic accident attorneys  to get legal remedy it seems . I never understood why people have to go to the right to make a left turn. All in all I am just relieved no one was hurt. That to me is what is most important.

I used a few different stamps on my background. I applied pewter distress stain to the icicle border stamp.(top of the page) I applied black acrylic paint to the tire stamp (center of page)and used a Faber Castell grey artist pen for the distressed snowflake stamp(around the page).I altered all the chipboard pieces in a similar way. I applied black soot distress stain to the film strip frame, winter bush, lamp post, some gears, triangles and chevron border/background. I then applied some Gesso for a snowy effect on to the bush , lamp post and chevron pieces. I applied pewter distress stain to some gears and cut apart chain frame. I then did the opposite and applied black Stazon ink to further distress the gears and chains.  I left the triangles (will be added to store on the weekend) and some gears black.
