Happy Monday! I hope everyone’s weekend was a memorable one. This weekend we had a combined Birthday party for our daughters. The party was a lot of fun! Jolie turned 11 on November 13th and Kayla will turn 17 on the 20th. I can’t believe how tall Jolie is next to Kay. I guess it’s the hubby’s gene’s. My side of the family is on the shorter side. Today I am sharing a layout I created with one of the pictures I took of my daughters. Super cute sister love. They are 6 years apart. At times they get on each others nerves. We have a small house so they share a bedroom. I am sure you can imagine how things are here. When it comes down to certain things Kayla’s there for Jolie and sticks up for her. They fight but family always comes first.
Lately I have been feeling rushed to complete a layout. I then slack on the way I alter my chippies. Today I had a little more time to play. I altered the flourish using Tim Holtz green stain and then dabbed Tim Holtz light green distress paint here and there. A very easy technique but very effective. I altered the Doily frame adding Pearlex in a reddish color. I added a bit of color to the feather with Tim Holtz Distress paint. I altered the small oval scalloped frame the same as the feather and layer a resin frame and cameo on top . Yep lots of layers. Can you tell I love using his products? LOL ..I left the wood heart all natural.
Haa haa..How cute is that. Kayla’s a bit of a face maker too. Her personality shines through in the photos I take of her.
The love piece I left natural as well.
