Happy Friday folks! Nicolle here, whooo this week just flew on by. My son even said that the week went by quick. I said to him ..”yep the older you get the quicker it passes on by.” I am sharing a layout I created of my puppy love Clyde. Well he’s not a puppy anymore but I call all my dogs puppies. He’s the youngest of my 3 dogs and they truly are my fur babies. Clyde is a Yorkie and he is pretty high strung. He’s full of energy and can be difficult at time. I often say that he’s lucky he is cute. In the photo below I was actually writing a blog post when I looked into the other room and saw him sitting on my coffee table in my sun-room. Clyde loves to look out the window. The only problem was is that I take my photos on that table. That part of the room has perfect natural lighting. I wanted to yell get down but he was sitting on my layout. Not to long after I just started laughing. I know dogs do not know any better. Well ok some do. My dogs tend to be a bit on the disobedient side. Ok I will make end this now. I can go on forever about my silly pups.
I left many of the products I used in there natural state. The chipboard frame is lightly altered with a bit of Black Soot ink I applied using a stencil as a guide. I was trying to create a sort of muddy like look. I altered the harlequin panel I cut apart with a Faber Castell artist pen as well as the light post. The chipboard tree I use distress paint on the leaves and highlighted the veins of the leaves with red permanent marker. For the trunk of the tree I just colored it in using a brown pitt pen. I also added a bit of small details with a black zig pen. You can’t really see then since its tucked behind other elements. The wood products I altered were just colored in with Faber Castell artist pens.
Their is also a sneak peak of the flair we will be carrying in the store soon the puppy love paw.
Thanks for stopping by. Don’t forget about our November Challenge.
