Happy Monday CE friends! Nicolle here today sharing a Halloween layout. The picture is of my hubs and my youngest daughter Jolie going in the rain Trick-or-Treating. Jolie was Minnie Mouse for school and dressed as Christina Aguilera in The movie Burlesque for going house to house. She wore the costume my oldest daughter wore in a Jazz dance recital performance. They were both heavy into dance but it became just to much for us.
Some of the chipboard pieces are a sneak peek and will be in our store tomorrow. There are a couple other new products we will be carrying in the store very soon. We want to offer many embellishments in our store to add to your projects.
I altered the spider web flourish first using Faber Castell artist pens and then applied stickles in coordinating colors. The bootiful title I applied Tim Holtz Distress paint. The new leave chippies I also used Tim Holtz Distress paints in fall leafy colors. The background is a stamp that will be in our store soon. I created my own background applying Tim Holtz distress inks and stamping the image using 3 different colors. I then sprayed water to lighten the colors a bit. Ehh didn’t turn out exactly how I had imagined. The new chippies and stamp coordinate with each other. I also added some of our wood stars to this layout. I painted them with black acrylic paint. I also altered the cut apart web panel using black paint.
Close up of the glittered flourish.
I applied the Distress paint uneven for a bit of dimension and interest.
That little piece of flair will be in the store soon as well.
