Happy Friday Friends! Nicolle here sharing a layout I created inspired by a picture of my Jolie getting ready to watch a 3D movie with us . We have movie night every Friday or Saturday evening. It’s a nice way for us to unwind and spend time with each other. We all have such busy lives now. My daughter Kay works and is in high school. My two older sons both have jobs or are out with their friends. Even Jolie is growing up and spending time with her friends more. The hubby works all day and helps me design in the evenings and weekends and helps me cut and package orders.
I used a bunch of different movie related chipboard and wood products. I altered them all in a similar way. I stamped the chipboard film strips, film strip frame, projector and medium arched window using gel medium and a Tim Holtz crackle stamp. I was trying to achieve a vintage look. I then used Faber Castell Artist pens to color over the areas where I applied the medium and then wiped away the excess to reveal the crackle. The wood products I simply used a black artist pen and Tim Holtz Pewter stain.
Below are some close ups.
The tree behind the window is a new chipboard tree. I will be adding to the store this weekend.
