Hi, everyone! This is Doris and I’ll be here on the CE blog every Thursday with a layout or project to share using some of CE’s fabulous laser cut chipboard and/or wood cut pieces. They’re so much fun to work with and alter! :-DFor my first Thursday project, I continued with the September Challenge’s nautical theme and scrapped a page of my son, Alex, searching for the perfect conch shell. Though the kids all brought home tons of shells they’d collected, he never did find a conch larger than my thumb nail. lol I also used a couple of the fun social hash tag title pieces and a gorgeous flourish on my page. All the chipboard pieces were altered with acrylic paint and gesso.
Here’s a close up of the shell, sand, burlap and chippy cluster:

My page was also inspired by the Scrap & Music challenge (sketch + song by U2 I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For).
